I found this quote and thought it was great.
Never look down on anybody unless you are helping him up.- Lending a helping hand It is easy to get down on someone when you aren't in their shoes. Often we throw in our two cents when it is not only unwanted, but also unhelpful and useless. Resist the temptation to waste your breath on pointless criticism at someone else's expense. Don't give advice to people unless it is asked for, lest you belittle them and come off looking like a know-it-all. Instead, examine ways you could help that person. Rather than continuously feeling irked by a coworker's mistakes, could you lend a hand or explain a task to her in a respectful way? You never know when the shoe will be on the other proverbial foot. Help others and one day it might come back to you.
I must admit this was a HARD week for me. I seriously said why and i doing what i am doing!! Someone said to me , you help so many people have hope. WOW! I did not realize that! Then on saturday I got a phone call from a former student who said all I had done to change their life. I firmly believe GOD made this happen and he gives me the strength to carry on.

your passion
Do you follow what your heart craves? As odd as it sounds, sometimes our logical minds can hold us back. Have you ever wanted to attempt a new career, run a marathon, or start your own business? Our brains might scream at us that it is safer to do what has been tried and true in the past, but don't let the fear of the unknown stop you! We all spend a lot of time worrying and little time examining the calling of our own hearts. What are you passionate about? Is there a way that you can honor these feelings in a responsible way? Trying new things can be terrifying, but following our passions can make us feel alive and become some of our most memorable moments in life. The thrill of love, the depths of grief, and the joys of a new career...all would be impossible without passion.

motivation part 2
Motivation!
You may call it willpower but I think what is really missing is "want power".
You may want to lose weight but in the actual moment when faced with a piece of cheesecake you want the cheesecake more than any desire to look good on the beach in the summer.
You may want to lose weight, but in the moment when faced with staying in bed or getting up extra early to go to the gym before work you seemingly want more sleep much more than you want to drop 10lbs.
So how do you get that elusive motivation to lose weight?
Lots of ways and I have a whole 12 weeks on the subject so I won't go into the details.
But even with that course you have to follow it. You have to do something.
There is no magic pill, patch or potion which will help if you're not prepared to take action.
But if you're ready to lose weight you can do it - anyone can - you just have to want it enough to do what it takes.
Are you sure you want to succeed at losing weight? How sure? Are you ready to work on your weight loss motivation? Stay tuned....

STAYING MOTIVATED
I know how hard it can be to stay motivated in anything especially weightloss. At first you are excited but after awhile it is not easy. Just remember ( WHY ) you wanted to get started on your weightloss journey. Mine was my health, my daughter and I just wanted to feel alive!!
If you are struggling, just take one day at a time. If one day seems to hard, try one meal at a time. Aim for a healthy breakfast every morning, and then expand on that. You will have hard days and easy days. You can do it!!

DINING OUT CLASS
Hello everyone. I just wanted to start this journal as a way for others to know how I deal with daily stress and eating issues.
Last nite was the class about dining out. what a great fun class. we had great participation and congrats to Jim for losing 7lbs this week!!
What a fun quiz, remember to always ask the waiter for what you want. You are in control of what you put in your mouth.
Confessions of a dieter..thats me .... I ate under stress today and that is something I always struggle with. But remember to always pick yourself up and start fresh, the next meal.
Also always plan your next meal, so you are not caught off guard and eat out of impulse.
